sudoku mania

This may be a bit too intimate for some of you...but do you sudoku? Confession is good for the soul, so if you do sudoku, go ahead and admit it. You're in good company, several of us do it regularly. Without apology or regrets.
I keep trying to explain how to do it to some who watch me work my lil puzzles out while I'm filling my bladder with endless cups of coffee at the lunch counter. It seems many people get hung up on the idea of trying to "add things up" or something like that. So I began thinking if it were just symbols instead of numbers it'd be easier to explain the concept of searching for the patterns in solving the puzzle. And Lo & Behold I found this neat site (aimed at kids but appealing the kid inside of me) where they have these fruit symbol 'sudoku' puzzles ready to solve.
Pretty cool concept and it may be just the thing for some of you parents to get your own kids or numerically challenged friends and family into the general concept of how to work sudoku puzzles.
Ok now let me see, I've got two watermellons on this vertical set of blocks, only one lemon on the horizontal so this corner has to be cherries....LOL...See how easy it is?!
