Captain Obvious is a Meteorologist
I was checking on the weather forecast for Greenville, SC for my daughter and this is what I read:
"Nowcast as of 2:17 PM EDT on July 5, 2009"
"Showers and a few thunderstorms will become more numerous during the late afternoon hours across the western Carolinas and northeast Georgia. The rain will move east at around 40 mph. Rainfall amounts will vary with the most occurring under the storms. "
Hope this helps you prepare for a rainy day today. ;-)

I learned something today, too. Never realized most rain occurred UNDER the storms, lol. Those weather people are so smart!
