This is not a picture of my Topsy Turvey Tomato Planter....but I have one that is similar.
We have it hanging on the front porch.... A little brown bird has decided to make her nest in it...she has laided 3 little eggs.
I told my hubby just to let the plant die..so she won't be disturbed. He taps on it and she hops out....goes to a near by tree and let's her displeasure known. He waters it on one side as not to water her eggs...then when he's done she comes back.
I think she might be the same bird that build her nest in one of my planters on the front porch last year.
It's funny I have several bird houses in my yard....guess she wanted more room!

She carefully moved it a few feet and used another helmet until the chicks hatched and left the nest....
* Never do that. If you’ve left it out somewhere and it should happen to rain, your helmet will fill up with water ....
