palin resigns as governor, leaves plans secret

Palin's selection, along with McCain's erratic reaction to financial crisis, provided ample proof to the electorate that McCain was too old to become president.
Ms Palin is an inexperienced, insubstantial, governor with questionable ethics and limited knowledge of the world outside Alaska.
Palin's historic selection as the GOP vice-presidential nominee provided a brief spike in the polls for McCain's candidacy, but her numerous inadequacies viewed on a national stage probably cost McCain any chance of winning the last election.
If Sarah Palin represents the future of the Republican Party, the future is bleak.
Right now, the GOP message is "we're just as corrupt as the other guys, but we won't raise your taxes."
Media-hounds with limited experience and significant baggage are unlikely to turn things around.
The GOP needs a leader to frame a new Contract with America, not another troubled TV personality who is likely to be the subject of a contract for a tell-all book deal.

I agree. The liberals are wetting their pants tryng to besmirch her and her record. Even in the blog, the worst thing anyone has charged her with is travelling with her family. Wow. But then they give a pass to Pelosi taking her staff to Italy (about 57K$) on a junket with no official involvement. Or the globe-trotting that Hilary and her spawn took the last year of Bill's term. Mrs. Palin has been cleared of all ethics charges, but people still want to recite them and declare her null and void of any value to ths country. That is mean when I say she is treated as insignificant.

She's not representing anything. She's out of politics. I don't think she could have made it any plainer in her speech. And why shouldn't she. Her whole life since Mccain showed up at her door has been nothing but a media circus of "let's get Palin and her children today". I admire her for having the guts to step down and get back to basics. I guess she and her husband needs to make up the half million they had to waste to prove her innocent of all the false charges the media lurched around and dug up in Alaska. news media that never went to Alaska before in their lives swooped down like vultures while they ignored all the crooked carp gong on in the democratic election such as acorn fraud, black panthers bullying pollsters. She's feels she's hurting alaska and that is not her objective. I also wonder if there is a bigger scandal about to hit the news and this was a predamage control speech

This election was well planned, well set up and well administered by a party who so far I think we've found three election violations that have been ignored. I see they are still at with the $25,000 luncheon they are planning breaking all ethnics laws as well. Having medical representatives and lobbyist (oh but I don't want any lobbyist in my government speech by Obama) at the white house dinners. OH that's a no no. Glad Obama finally figured it out and stopped it after the first one,. after the damage is done. Give me a break on talking incompetency and leaving out the main character, Our President and his cabinet. I got ot pullout for my out of town adventure this holiday, so take care everyone.
