Americans are evenly divided on the climate change bill passed by the House last week—37% favor it and 41% are opposed. Forty-two percent (42%) believe it will hurt the economy and 19% believe it will help. Most (56%) are not willing to pay more in taxes and utility costs to fight Global Warming.
The Presidential Approval Index is calculated by subtracting the number who Strongly Disapprove from the number who Strongly Approve. It is updated daily at 9:30 a.m. Eastern (sign up for free daily e-mail update). Updates also available on Twitter.
Overall, 54% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President's performance so far. Forty-five percent (45%) disapprove. For more Presidential barometers, see Obama By the Numbers and recent demographic highlights.

What has that got to do with Obama. Bush is gone and is no longer a contender. What Bush's polls say has nothing to do with what Obama polls say. And I bet no one is happier to be gone than Bush himself.

Wouldn't that have been true about George Bush as well when his poll numbers dropped?
Obama will not be fazed by the polls. He will not turn away from the path he has set, because he will likely have only two years to accomplish his mission which is to take away freedom and enslave the citizens to a massive government entity as well as totally overturn our capitalist society.

Dick Morris just came out with a new book on the topic:
Catastrophe: How Obama, Congress, and the Special Interests Are Transforming a Slump into a Crash, Freedom Into Socialism, and a Disaster into a Catastrophe . . . and How to Fight Back."

The poll numbers are going where they are going because many people are waking up to the fact that they were subjected to a gigantic bait and switch. On top of that, it is becoming clear that he is listening to the people that are giving him bad advice about the impact of actions he is taking. He loves to claim he listens to input from all sides, however, the lie is put to that when he discards anything that does not align with his preconceptions. He is out of his league. Perhaps he might be able to grow into the job. Time will tell. But as he continues to break promise after promise after promise, more and more people will become disenchanted. I wonder how high he will raise all of our taxes.
