anyone lose a shoe?

Okay so the other day I was driving down the highway and I seen a shoe in the road. Then a couple miles later I saw another (this one was a high heel while the other was a tennis shoe) THEN this morning on the same highway I was coming off the exit and seen another lone, solitary shoe. I was going slow so I could see it very good and it was a grey and yellow jordan and it looked brand new. Now my question is this, where are the mates to these shoes? Is there some one legged person out there getting rid of these extra shoes? Some bad little kid throwing their parents shoes out the window when noone was looking? Some strange vortex sucking shoes out of passing cars? I wonder does anyone ever go back and look for these shoes? Do you ever wonder about the owner of these lost shoes or am I just weird?LOL

I ALWAYS laugh out loud (literally) when I see a shoe in the middle of the road. I ponder the same.
