cool cocktails for a summer saturday evening

To those who will be imbibing this weekend, here are some new ideas for a summer cooler.
Luchador
12 oz pilsner-style Mexican beer, i.e. Modelo
2 oz Clamato juice
1 oz lime juice
3 dashes hot sauce
Pinch cumin seeds
Pinch freshly ground black pepper
Pinch kosher salt
Ice
Pour beer into a frozen pint glass. Combine remaining ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled halfway with ice. Shake vigorously, strain over beer & stir to serve. Makes 1 drink Source: Chow.com
Red Rooster
1 c ice cubes
2 oz vodka
4 oz cranberry juice
1/2 oz orange juice
Fill a tall glass with ice. Pour in vodka. Fill glass to 3/4 full with cranberry juice. Top with orange juice. Stir. For a non-alcoholic version, substitute 7 Up or Sprite for vodka. Source: Allrecipes.com
Rowdy Red Rooster - A frozen concockshun!
1/2 (750 milliliter) bottle vodka
1 (32 fluid ounce) bottle cranberry juice
2 cups orange juice
1 (15 ounce) can mandarin oranges
In a large bowl, combine vodka, cranberry juice and orange juice. Place in freezer for 2 hours, or until slushy. When slushy, mix in mandarin oranges and serve, or replace in freezer. Serves 10
