let's all pretend
Published Jun. 2, 2009Views: 440
There was a small Islamic jihad skirmish in Arkansas yesterday. But let’s all pretend it was merely a simple misunderstanding of the Religion of Peace.
An American soldier fell on a battlefield which was in his own home town. But let’s all just pretend it was just another drive-by shooting. We’re doing “over seas contingencies” right now so let’s all pretend we’re not really at war with Islam.
The jihadist arrested for the attack was born Carlos Leon Bledsoe. You might know him by his Religion of Peace name, Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad –i.e. the man who chose to fight a holy war for Muhammed. But let’s all pretend jihad is an “internal personal & spiritual struggle”.
This man was a ‘recent convert’ to Islam – The Religion of Peace. Huffington Post has a report that his conversion took place in prison – now he will be tried for murder, and if convicted, sent back to a prison. Let’s all pretend he won’t ‘convert’ others while he’s doing his time.
There are literally thousands of men just like Carlos Leon Bledsoe serving time in our prison systems that come out with a “new lease on life” and a new name like “Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad”. Let’s all pretend they have been fully ‘rehabilitated’ and are ready to be productive members of society.
Mr. Bledsoe, AKA Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad, recently spent some time in the peaceful country of Yemen. You remember Yemen don’t you? That idyllic spot where the USS Cole went to get some fuel and came away with a gaping hole in her hull and 17 dead sailors – and the place where the men arrested for blowing that hole in the hull of that ship “escaped” when they were allowed to stop and pray an the local mosque – you know – our “ally” in the Global War On Terror? Let’s all pretend Mr. Bledsoe’s visit to the local ‘Islamic scholars’ didn’t have anything to do with his attack yesterday. And let’s all pretend that’s NOT why he was already under investigation by the FBI.
Little Rock Police Chief Stuart Thomas said: "At this point it appears that he specifically targeted military personnel, but there doesn't appear to be a wider conspiracy or, at this point in time, any indication that he's a part of a larger group or a conspiracy to go further." Right. Let’s all pretend there are not literally several hundred thousand Islamic jihadists just waiting for the opportunity to fight in the name of Allah. Let’s all pretend this war is “just a bumper sticker”.
Islamic jihadists have declared war against the entirety of western civilization and especially the U.S. and her allies. It is truly a “global struggle” (can’t call it a “Crusade” now can we – might hurt their feelings). Jihadists are blowing up cities, towns, villages, schools and even mosques all over the world. They even do it on U.S. soil when they get the chance. But let’s all pretend that the greatest threat of ‘domestic terrorism’ is a handful of Christian extremists who go after abortion providers.
Let’s pretend that the Hezb’allah “youths” in the picture aren’t in New York a few blocks from the crater where Twin Towers used to stand – using our own Constitutionally protected right to free speech to promote their barbaric religious hatred in support of jihad.
Isn’t playing pretend so much fun!

But you're right, none of those words were spoken by Christ. But Christians don't really ignore the non-Christ parts of the Bible, do they?
Of course, the difference between Christianity and Islam is that Christians are NOT killing people for being non-believers. Some like to point at people like Timothy McVeigh, but he didn't kill people for being non-believers. His problem was with our government.

Actually, no.
My original post to which you refer was:
"Show me ONE verse in the Bible where The Christ ordered his followers to kill non-believers."
None of the verses you posted are quotes from Christ.

"And Israel joined himself unto Baalpeor: and the anger of the Lord was kindled against Israel. And the Lord said unto Moses, 'Take all the heads of the people and hang them up before the Lord against the sun, that the fierce anger of the Lord may be turned away from Israel.'" (Numbers 25:3-4)
"And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he hath spoken to turn you away from the LORD your God..." (Deuteronomy 13:5)
There are many others, but I think your request was answered.

Ok ... :-D
"Anyone arrogant enough to reject the verdict of the judge or of the priest who represents the LORD your God must be put to death. Such evil must be purged from Israel. (Deuteronomy 17:12)
"You should not let a sorceress live." (Exodus 22:17)
"A man or a woman who acts as a medium or fortuneteller shall be put to death by stoning; they have no one but themselves to blame for their death." (Leviticus 20:27)
"He who sacrifices to any god, except to the Lord only, he shall be utterly destroyed." (Exodus 22:19)

Don't believe you think at all....couldn't care less about some 'experts' degree - just don't believe his claim - an expert is someone who knows more and more about less and less.
I think we have seen that proven hereon.

Show me ONE verse in the Bible where The Christ ordered his followers to kill non-believers.
I can show you dozens in the Q'uran that orders precisely the death of the infidel - if they can't be converted or taxed.
Not paying the j'ziya nor am I bowing to Mecca - only leaves one option and I think I'll pass on that one too.
BTW, I don't condone in anyway the actions of the abortion doctor killer but you just keep arguing the strawman - it's alot easier that actually refuting what I post.

Plenty of people on Golo defend them. And others that don't defend them (per-se') simply distract to some other subject, like Christians, or the people that were involved in the Crusades. So in not attacking them, they are essentially defending them. Their words indicate that these Muslim animals are not as important as something that happened a few hundred years ago.
