"Rubber Ducky, you're the one. You make bath time so much fun". Unlike most everything else from my childhood, Sesame Street has not changed much since those days and my kids love it just as much today as I did back then. That's what makes Sesame Street so special to me still today. Now on to why I would like the tickets: I just can't wait to make the 1 hour trip to Raleigh with the kids saying over and over, "Are we there yet? Are we there yet?" the whole way. Once we arrive, it will be a blast to navigate through the sea of people with kids in tow to find your seat only to hear, "Daddy, I gotta go potty" right after you get situated. Also, there's nothing like, "Daddy, when's it gonna start?" or "Daddy, I'm thirsty" or "I want that Big Bird Bobblehead daddy!" Yep, it would be a blast to me. It's all about the kids though and my kids(and wife of course) are my life. This would be a night they would never forget and it would put a smile on their face that I would never forget."

"Forget the offspring, I want to go! I don't know how many times when I was little that I asked my mom if I could be on Sesame Street. :)
My son would love it! I think my daughter would too, my concern is she might be a little scared.
When my son was little he went to sleep EVERY night in his swing watching a certain Elmo video. We knew the video was over and the end credits had come on when he started crying. I would have to rewind the video for him to watch again and he would cry the whole time until it came back on.
We have tickle me Elmo, Cookie Monster and Ernie. My daughter will take all three of them and line them up in the middle of the living room. Then she turns them on and runs for the couch saying, "I scared! I scared!" When they go off she does it again. And again. It's a trip when you get all three of them going at one time!
They've actually seen the advertisement for the show and have asked to go. I told them, "We'll see."

But...ummm...Angela? That's my husband that won the other set. I told him about the contest and he put in for a chance to win. We never thought we'd both win! I'm sorry!
It was kinda funny, though. He checked his e-mail this morning and said, "Guess who won the Sesame Street tickets? I did...and you did!" We both said "Uh-oh!"
Angela, please let me know what you'd like to do. Neither one of us are very lucky at winning things. When we go to Bingo night at the local schools we're content to walk away with a generic tool set or candle holder.
AND THANK YOU AGAIN!!! It will be a blast!!!

I had this blog up when my 6 year old came over to sit on my lap. He said look mama Elmo. I said it sure is. I tried to win tickets to go see the show but I didn't win. He said Awwww man. He was disappointed. I would have thought he was too old for that kind of thing but I guess Seseme Street is good for many ages.
