top 10 list revealed! carolina vs. pittsburgh

GOLO, thank you all so much for the great suggestions yesterday for the Top 10 list of reasons why Carolina is better than Pittsburgh. That blog had more than 200 comments!
If you don't know what I'm talking about, you can read all about it in my blog from yesterday.
As promised, some WRAL folks took on the tough task of sorting through your suggestions, plus some ideas from WRAL people, and came up with our own Top 10 list of why Carolina is better than Pittsburgh.
The morning news anchors announce the list in this video!!!

"Good morning KDKA! It's your friends from WRAL in Raleigh. Home of the Canes! We have to say, our viewers got fired up over the top 10 list you sent us! So -- with the help of some of those folks -- we came up with a top ten list of our own. Here goes... why Carolina is better than Pittsburgh:
- 10) The Durham Bulls could probably beat the Pirates.
- 9) What would you rather see in the sky -- Carolina blue or Pittsburgh gray?
- 8) When North Carolina beckoned, Bill Cowher came BACK.
- 7) Gov. Rendell is really a Flyers fan.
- 6) Pittsburgh has four seasons: almost winter, winter, still winter and road construction.
- 5) "Y'all" sounds so much nicer than "Yinz."
- 4) Hey Pittsburgh, the 80's called. They want their hairstyles back.
- 3) We have the Outer Banks, you have Lake Erie.
- 2) Nobody ever relocates to Pittsburgh.
- 1) Our Staal didn't have to go to his big brother's house to hold Lord Stanley's Cup!
Remember our little friendly bet. Our team wins, you're wearing Canes jerseys...Go Canes!"

Montreal thought the same thing in 2006. They went golfing, we went on to hoist the Stanley Cup.
I'll take a repeat of that any day and twice on Sunday. :)
The Canes are coming home where they'll have the loudest house in the NHL and the last change on their side. Malkin and Crosby will no longer be able to hide from the checking lines.
All we need to do is keep our own house and steal one on the road. They've shown in the previous two series they can do just that.
