sad news

We have lost another one of our GOLO community, GoPanthers.
John's cousin from Reno was here to visit. We went to Cape Hatteras and then to New York City. Well, there is sad news. John passed away in his sleep Friday night in New York. We do not know the cause yet. He was so happy to be visiting his cousin and the place of his birth. So he passed with joy in his heart. I am doing OK with good minutes and bad minutes, just waiting to wake up from this bad dream. Please keep my and John's families in your prayers.

John's cremation was today so I said a little prayer. I picked out a beautiful urn for him and another for his dad. It weighed heavily on his heart that he still had not taken care of his dad. He still grieved over him and unsure what he wanted to do. So I took care of both of them. I may go back and get another for me so that evrything will be ready when my time comes.
Anyway just wanted ya'll to know that I am hanging in there. Today I was wondering what do you do after 18 years with someone, being alone again. I am sure that I will find my way.

John and I were both stay at home people most of the time. We really didn't care to go out much, had enough of that in our younger days. We were happy just spending time with each other, almost 18 years.
It was so nice to hear all the kind words that Goloers said about John. He would be so proud of the kind words people had for him. My heart is broken but those words helped me grieve. So keep us in your thoughts and prayers and send good vibes my way to keep me strong.
