foodlion new items...

We had noticed a while back that the Foodlion in Oxford has a wide selection of Vegan and Vegetarian specialties. We had thought because the Manager was one or the other so he was bringing in a lot to choose from. BUT yesterday when I was in the new Foodlion in Creedmoor I had noticed they now have a wide selection of these items...waffles, breads, cheeses, cereals, quick meals, fresh grains, even deodorants...which never thought about because they are tested on animals in some cases.
I just thought I would share since many of you stick to Whole Foods because not many stores offer such selections.

Mostly apples (applesauce) and raisins.
But I still like meat every now and then. But store bought and pre-packaged. No faces!

Kim...the Foodlion in Oxford off of College Street. We have a Friend that comes over often that is Vegan and we would run to Whole Foods when planning a meal...but my Husband just ran to Foodlion in Oxford one time for some fruits and veggies, chips and dips, etc and found that they had this section...Yesterday I noticed the new one in Creedmoor had a large section as well.

Crewmax is funny, serious probably, but funny!
I spent a year in Taiwan (ages ago) and really was thrilled with the whole range of meat like tofu and wheat glutten foods. The Buddhists in Taiwan are vegetarian (unlike the Tibetans) and so it's a vegetarian's dream come true.
