durham to enter witness protection program as reported by wral.com

Durham NC – Apparently the city of Durham has had all it can take. In a move almost as brilliant as banning garbage disposals, the City of Durham has decided to cloak itself using the witness protection program.
After enduring all the gang violence it can stand, Durham will be entering the witness protection program beginning next week.
After Sunday there will be no way of contacting the city of Durham. Late Sunday evening upstanding citizens of what we now know as Durham will migrate to parts unknown to elude gangs. The existing commercial buildings and houses will stay in tact and of course the current city will be renamed.
In a related move Duke University will be moving to Mississippi and become known as Yazoo City Tech.
WRAL.com broke this story at 6:00 PM on Friday the 13th, March 2009. The date seems story appropriate.
