roads from apex to chapel hill

Has anyone been out and about? I'm trying to decide if i want to brave the roads and head into work...or stay home and clean the house. I'm an hourly employee and the choice is mine.

I made the decision during the last snow day to try and head into work(I think it was the Tuesday after MLK day). My 30 minute drive to CH became about an hour. I worked for 90 minutes and then headed home b/c the snow kept falling. The drive home took 90 minutes and the car in front of me had some major issues. He nearly slid of the road trying to make a turn. Before that he did an almost complete 360 and ended in the oncoming lane. He was very lucky there wasn't someone coming from the opposite direction.
I'm leaning towards staying home.
