Five good reasons to use GOLO's "Friends-Only" feature

RALEIGH — Have you ever thought about using the friends-only feature but weren't quite sure if you should? If so, consider this:

We created the tool so that you could communicate with like-minded people, share inside information that you don't want public, and even horse around a bit with people who share your humor and like to have fun the way that you do.

It's a great tool, and it's also underutilized.

Friends-only is no different than "block" or "report abuse."  Yes, members have strong feelings about the use of both of those tools and often criticize others for using them, but all are tools in your GOLO arsenal that can be used to create a great GOLO experience.
Here are five reason to consider using "Friends-only"
  1. Your posts are often removed
  2. You aren't crazy about our guidelines or have a hard time adhering to them but you really enjoy being here.
  3. You like to push the envelope and test the limits, or see how low you can fly under the radar.
  4. You really don't value what we've created, nor do you care about our goals but you like attention and you can get a lot here on GOLO.
  5. You repeatedly lose your posting privileges and are running out of ideas for profile names.

Remember, there's a lot on GOLO, and if you take advantage of what we offer, like friends only, private groups and other features...you (and others) may have a more enjoyable experience.

Give it a try.
