what are you doing to speak up???

Most people paying attention to what our government is doing, knows that this stimulus bill HEAVILY backed by Obama and being "quickly pushed through" is a slap in the face to the intellegence of most Americans.
There is not a lot in the bill that is Stimulus. Just pet projects.
It is about to be the Senate's turn to "add" to the belly of the beast. You KNOW they won't take away....
SO what are you doing about? Think there is nothing you can do? WRONG
How many of you have bombarded your Senate Representatives? How many of you bombarded your House Representatives?
When our Representatives take their oath and their new positions, they lose their voice.... everytime they speak, the voice is suppose to be your voice. USE IT.

Good luck with Kay Hagen though. Her phone is conveniently always busy. She's already gone back on half of what she said she would do for us during her campaign, especially on ethics and econimics. But that's fine, if she doesn't want to be your voice? FLOOD her email! Tell her what you EXPECT her to do as YOUR REPRESENTATIVE

If you work in one of the social services that provides to the public (food stamps, etc), then you know of what I amout to speak on.
The average # of credit cards in a waller of American's is 14. 14 credit cards.
Most list paycheck to paycheck, not because they are "poor" but because they overspent what they actually made and live on those credit cards, barely making minimum payments.
If you give them money - as an example, no federal taxes for 6 months - they see that as "extra income" coming in. Will they pay off debt? Very few will. The majority will incur MORE debt. Like a new HHGregg CC to get that new LCD TV with a Box Home Theater system and Blue Ray. Within 4 months, they will have "new bills" that require that income. When the taxes kick back in... they will be in worse shape then they were before and it doesn't help the economy when they file bankruptcy
