completely distracted
Published January 20, 2009Views: 189
OK, so yes, I'm telecommuting and working from home. But I have to be honest and say that I'm pretty much distracted. Having spoken with othe co-workers who are also working from home, I am not alone.
None that I have chatted with so far have watched the inauguration. However, a funny email went out on my husbands company that asked people to stop watching the inauguration over the internet at work, it was conjecting their system LOL.
Anyone else at home and just completely distracted and not wanting to do anything except enjoy the day?
Oh and yeah, that's my little baby girl, my dingo baby, as we like to call her. She's 100% grade A spoiled rotten. She's a mutt we found lost on Valentine's Day of 1997. We took her in and she's been with us since.
She's not to happy with the snow. We had to trick her out there with my hubby going outside into the snow

So, alas, she doesn't go outside since she doesn't have claws to protect herself. But I will say this. I swear I heard her laugh at the dog who finally decided she had to go to the bathroom. The cat was standing in the doorway watching... The sound that came out of her was no normal meow LOL

Bigfoot, our Maine Clown cat, had to 'test' the snow when I opened the door for him. First one foot in the snow on the porch, then pulled that back in. A minute later, the other front paw. The then slooowly walked out, standing on the porch for about a minute. Then he took off to the corner of the house by a holly bush. Did his thing and RAN at full throttle back into the house.
Lulu, the littlest but furriest one, put one paw out on the porch, pulled back and darted to the back hallway, deferring to the litter box.
I think Lulu was the wisest. :-)
