being a consultant
Published Jan 8, 2009Views: 399
Is anyone out here in GOLO a consultant for any type of business. Like Mary Kay, Alloette, Party Lite, Avon, ect. I am thinking about becoming one for a company on the side and just wanted some opinions about it.

What is the initial investment needed?
Do you have to keep stock/inventory on hand?
Who is responsible for delivering the product? You or the party hostess?
What is the percentage of profit that goes to you?
Are there required weekly/monthly meetings and will those cramp your style, and are they local?
What kind of training will you be offered?
Will your sponsor/recruiter be available to help you if you need it?
Just some things to think about.
And the only other word of advice is do NOT pressure your friends. Let them know that you're a XXX Consultant, and leave it at that.
