We're really close to Christmas, and I'm feeling great, because I've not yet bought a single gift. We're going to the beach for Xmas, only getting a gift or two for each family member while we're there. My blog is about what pizzes you off about Christmas? Be honest and open up.

Another thing that gets to me is my mother in law. She can not stand NOT knowing what she's getting and she hounds me relentlessly. She can not believe that I like to be surprised and don't care to try and find out what I'm getting and she is conastantly dropping hints.
AND, our family used to draw names and fill the stocking of the person whose name we drew. My MIL took all the fun out of it because she absolutely could NOT stand not knowing who had her name and made everyone around her miserable

This is the first year I decided not to go.

There’s some stress, with buying gifts and spending all that money. But about the only thing that I don’t like is that people put up their decorations so early then snatch them down the day after Christmas. I think you should wait until December to put them up, and wait until January to take them down.
