accused drunken driver runs over himself
Published Nov. 28, 2008A 21-year-old man was accused of driving drunk and leading police on a chase that finally ended with him running over himself.

Unfortunately the lord looks out for drunks and fools, or else I would not have lost one nights sleep if the truck would have used his head for a speed bump.

OTOH, my husband never started drinking until he was 40, but once he started - whoa, Nellie and Katy bar the door. Thank God he is clean and sober now. I can see him behaving as the drunk in the story did - he calls it "alcologic".
When he talks to teens about drinking, he tells them exactly what you said - that you never know whether you are the one who is an alcoholic until you have already crossed the line.
