how would you do on this quiz
Published Nov. 23, 2008Earlier today there was an article about the fact that 50% of elected officials who took a civics literacy quiz did not pass it. The average elected official completing the 33 question quiz on American history, civics, and economics answered 44% of the questions correctly. Maybe a history quiz should be required before running for office? :-)
Here is the link to the quiz.
I'm curious how the GOLO citizens will do on this quiz.

I'm not sure the question about Plato, Socrates and Aristotle was really necessary, nor the questions about the Puritans, although I got them both correct.

The only question I missed was the free markets question, number 27. I feel bad for Congress if they couldn't answer simple questions like these.

Average score for this quiz during November: 78.0% Average score: 78.0%
You can take the quiz as often as you like, however, your score will only count once toward the monthly average.
The levee question is oddly worded.
