First and foremost I would like to thank all the people thru Golo and WRAL for contacting me asking me how to help Mr Lee and his dogs out. Mr Lee is SO very greatful to you all !! We've been both in tears a few times already.
Ok, good news, he has found a fence company that will install the fence at NO labor charge, we just have to raise the money for the materials. I am waiting for him to call me back once he gets the estimate.
So with that now in the works, onto more things to help.... he only needs help for the winter then he will be back on track with his dogs.
Here are some things I would like to get for him besides the money for the fence (that is my main goal to reach)
- gift cards to Pet Smart, Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot
- come & get it dog food
- a wagon to pull the dog food
- dog houses if you have any to spare
- extra chain link/posts for kennels
- golf kart or gator to haul the food across the property (he uses a cane to walk) he has a few acres of land and the dogs are spread out.
IF anyone can suggest ANYTHING else, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE dont hesitate. I have to leave to a Dr's appt today at 1 and I dont think I will be back to work. If I can have someone repost this blog for me later today (hint hint anyone) that would be GREAT !
I have a 7 hour road trip to take tomorrow (going to visit family) and I have a pinched nerve in my back, bone spurs & arthritus in both knees ..... been in a LOT of pain for the past week. Not cool at all !!! So I am off to see my ortho doctor at 1:00 (wish me luck for some good stuff) LOL
Thank you all again so very much. It means a LOT to me but even more to Mr Lee. Cant wait to meet him on the 14th and see YOU there too !!!!!!!!!!!!
