WheelrX5,
I pray that God opens up the windows of heaven and showers you and your family with more blessings than you can count. I pray that your husband finds a much better job with an employer that cares about his employees family as if they were his own family. I pray that your income exceedes your outflow. Be sure to encourage your husband as much as possible and be sure to tell him (and show him) just how much you love him. Hold your head up high and walk with dignity. Do not allow temporary set backs to be a stopping point, let them be a starting block. Our hope does not come from a politician, it comes from the Lord Jesus, because as Mark 10:27 tells us ....."with God all things are possible." and that's true hope and change.
Good night to all and have a better day tomorrow than you had today.

Perhaps because not all on government assistance or unemployment AREN'T actively looking for jobs; nor do we smoke or drink or play the lottery.
I explained this yesterday, but took no real offense because I realized you don't understand what it's like to be highly qualified and put in 25 applications and still have no one call.
It's a tough world out there; let's not diss those who need assistance - let's pray for them instead.
And btw - I've lived a longgg time, and it took me more than half that to realize that every time I criticized someone else, within a very short time, I found the show on my own foot - and no one needs that. k
God bless.

I know this is not the purpose of your blog, so for that I apologise in advance. This "statistic" is a joke. 75% of 33% of the world polled want Obama. That would be about 1/4 of the polled individuals for Obama vs. around 8% for McCain. Sounds meaningful until you look at the sample size - which for all the recently published polls account for less than 1/100 of one percent of the respective populations. Numbers don't lie - but statisticians do!

Now THAT makes me want to vote for Obama.
Gallup Polls conducted in 70 countries from May to September 2008 reveal widespread international support for Democratic Sen. Barack Obama over Republican Sen. John McCain in the U.S. presidential election. Among these nations, representing nearly half of the world's population, 30% of citizens say they would personally rather see Obama elected president of the United States, compared with just 8% who say the same about McCain. At the same time, 62% of world citizens surveyed did not have an opinion.
World citizens are more divided over whether the outcome of the U.S. election makes a difference to their country, with 31% saying it does and 21% saying it does not. Moreover, 49% of those surveyed did not have an opinion.

You think no one's done that to me, or to others???
I get slammed by someone daily. I just give it back to them wherever they laid it on me and walk on.
Life is too short; simplify, pray for those that irritate you and walk on. Nothing else works. Believe me, I've tried it all. ;o)
God bless.
