Another glorious morning. Maybe if we'd simply change our own mental perception of this dawn, it could make all the difference in whether we perceive it as another great day, or just another reason to rollout of the bed and into another bout with drudgery. I whine and bellyache with enthusiasm sometimes. I'm not pretending to be Pollyanna's long haired brother but I also have times when a bit of stoicism creeps in and I take whatever hits me without flenching and just mutter 'Que sera, sera' under my breath , smile and go on. We all have our moments of being in the Sun and we have our darker moments as well.
Often there's not a darn thing you can do about what comes at you in life, but you can decide how you perceive that Life and how you will meet it. Some days it's harder than others to meet the morning with a smile and a positive attitude. And somedays...you just need a reason to smile...you need to find a reason to get up and go on once again...you need your "own" reason to Believe.

Thankfully, that song makes me laugh. So, the oatmeal didn't win this morning.
