a tour of ancient sights
Published Oct. 12, 2008Several years ago I came across Amethystium while in Barnes & Noble at their 'listening station' and was captivated by the music. Primarily electronic based music, you can almost feel yourself falling into a dream or trance with some of the selections. Normally I don't care for the majority of 'electronic music' that I've heard, but this is very different. A blend of sounds that are almost visual as you fall into their spell. Relaxing to sit back out on the deck and let the natural nightsounds wash over you along with Amethystium playing in the background, almost giving the evening and early morning hours, their own soundtrack.
