you just saved a whole lot of time for me, because i do get frustrated with trying to present facts to someone that can only counter facts with their opinion.

 

i would like to point out the fact that i never said or did anything to you to deserve being blocked. if i did, please let me know.

ladyblue, Rick, and all others on this blog: I grew up in Italy, and had the chance to try the type of health plan that Obama endorses. It works just fine. The upside of it is that EVERYONE gets healthcare. The downside of it is that it works on a referral system, so people HAVE to go to their family doctor before they can see a specialist or undertake any testing. It works very well for the elderly, as there is no capped amount and ALL medications are passed. Private insurance plans have a cap on how much they will pay, and that tends to decrease as age increases. Also, government mandated health care does not require deductibles. I can write you a book on this, also because I attended a pre-med school in Italy, and had to study all the bureaucratic details about this. Obama's healthcare plan also states that people CAN still choose to buy private insurance. In their case, they will still benefit from lower premiums.

oh yeah lady..i have read mccain's letter previously. just so you know, he didn't even hop on board for that legislation until it was already dead in the senate (nearly a year later, in fact).
