Just how many do you haave to have before you are driving and drinking?

I don't mean how much you register on the baloon test.

What is drinking and driving?

It takes one good gulp to have alcohol on your breath, that's enough for me. The legal limit is pretty much drinks by body weight, so a full grown man can probably drink 2 beers and be at or near the limit. I love my truck and my freedom more than I love beer.

If I have even one drink, I do not drive.

But boy when I was younger, I drank and drove when I could barely walk.

Thank God I didn't kill anyone then.

a six pack is the limit - unless it's been more than an hour - for two hours you are good anywhere under 12.....if drinking from a keg - please use a cup to gauge how your driving will be

Drinking and THEN driving I've done. I try to avoid drinking AND driving at the same time! :)

Just depends on the person. Being a former bartender I've seen it all. Ive seen girls go off the deep end after their first glass of wine and I've seen grown men not look or act even the slightest bit drunk after half a bottle of Jack.

A few years ago the actress Tracey Gold (Growing Pains) was arrested for DUI. She was being interviewed by Oprah I think after the whole ordeal was over. She said she'd been at a party with her family and her husband had had too much to drink so they decided she would drive. She only had a glass (bottomless) of wine. She said "Once you have ONE drink your judgement is impaired." I thought those were very wise words.

I think that if someone has 1, just one beer, that they should wait at least an hr before diving. But, I know some people that could get up in the morning, after sleeping off a night of drinking alcohol for 6 hrs, and still probably blow an 8.
