champagne & wine tasting reception to support interact
Published Oct. 7, 2008Enjoy an evening of champagne and wine tasting, while supporting victims of domestic violence during Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
Artist Laura Lacambra Shubert will sell her painting, Playing on the Beach (24x24 inches). Proceeds from the sale of the painting (pictured on the right)will go directly to Interact, Wake County's domestic violence and rape/sexual assault agency.

Interact does recognize the link between substance abuse and domestic violence and has recently partnered with SouthLight, a local substance abuse agency, which will provide treatment for families receiving services at Interact.
