my governor
Published Oct. 7, 2008I was just watching Sarah Palin, my governor, in Jacksonville, FL. You guys know that I have been her number one supporter. She is, with the possibility of Jay Hammond, our BEST Governor we have ever had in Alaska. In the 7 Govs that I have been here for, she is heads above everyone but Jay. As I watched and listened to her this morning I thought.....she is absolutely full of feces!!! I kept listening....and, sadly as this is, that is still how I feel. You guys send her on back home, she can come be the great Governor that she was before the Republicans got hold of her. I cannot believe that I felt sure I knew her, and then hear her spouting those tired Republican lines. Does the Republican party think America is going for that??? They are going to lose, and in a landslide. It is going to be on the order of Nixon/McGovern in 72. The "plan" that they have has been tried for 8 yrs and it is NOT WORKING!!!! HELLO!!!! Just send her back home, and we can steel ourselves against the disaster that is going to be Obama/Biden. God Please Bless America, we are going to need it.

I have heard "95% of the middle class will get a tax cut" and I have heard "95% of those making under $250k will get a tax cut". Since upper class starts at $65k, which one is right? And since 20-30% of those making under $250k do not pay income taxes, how do they get a tax cut? And since small businesses pay income taxes, how does taxing them more help create jobs?

Yukon - yes unfortunately a VP must go out and spout the messages that the top of the ticket wants spouted.
Even more unfortunate for all of us is that either Obama or McCain will be the next President. Currently, it looks like Obama is going to be the winner. Regardless of which one wins, we are the losers.

According to lifes history it's time for our fake leader to step up and even though I have accepted it, I am not looking forward for what yet is to come. It's time as this I am glad I have the faith needed for the future ahead. WE haven't seen anything yet. Just wait...............

Not that this has anything to do with the blog, but congratulations. You must be one of those earning more than $250K a year. Otherwise, you're listening to way too much right wing talk radio.

What do you suggest? Should we take to the streets? Burn down washington? Actually vote for people like ron paul? bullet656
You know people... a Revolution doesn't need anything more than a good Constitutional Lawyer with the cajones to sue the Government for the people. Nothing more - no guns, no turmoil.
Obama's lines are no different than McCain/ Palin's lines. Tired and Old - and typical party line BS that that none of them ever follow through on (or can) when they get in office.
The only thing I can feel guarenteed on with Obama is that I'll definatley be paying way more in taxes and my health care plan (which rocks right now) will go to hadess in a handbasket and I'll pay double my premium, so that I can pay for other people while getting care restricted.
That's the only thing I feel 99.99 certain of. The rest - no mater who takes the white house - I'm scared.
You just have to want it back...
