problem is, is that the kid shouldve told his friends to back off but I notice in certain races they always have a gaggle in a fight and can't fight one on one WilloWSnapper

We don't know "who started it" b/c we don't know what exactly led up to the initial confrontation. However, it really doesn't matter who started it. What matters is that 2 boys brutalized another. When the kid was down, WALK AWAY!!!! You don't continue to beat the ever-living snot out of someone to the point of verging on death UNLESS you are defending your life and that person is continuing to pose a threat.

Those 2 boys were wrong and the third is just as guilty for aiding and abetting. They should be punished severely!

Once the victim was down, even if he did start it...it should've ended there. Since it didn't, the charges are correct against the perps. JMO

No one wins in a situation like this. I do not have first hand knowledge of the facts so i will have to trust you guys on this one. I am not taking sides. It sounds like so many other instances where the parents deny that their children are capable of doing the evil things that they do. Take for instance the young punk who raped a woman and assaulted her husband while walking home drunk from a party. He had an extensive record for someone only 17 years old yet his parents say that they are shocked because he is basically a good boy. I talk with my boys and I spend time with my boys to help them learn how to avoid situations like this kid at Wakefeild. Most of the time when you read about people like that, you will find some very disturbing behaviors at home as well.

DJ hit the first boy, and got his more than he bargained for. The second boy then also kicked him after it was over, which was not called for as it was not his fight. The 3rd boy did not touch him. He took the first boys shirt and hid it for him. These are the facts. Not condoning, just putting the record straight.
