long before mccain helped charles keating cheat his customers, he cheated on his first wife.
Published Oct. 6, 2008WHAT A JERK!
So much for his respect for "traditional marriage" and his so-called religious convictions. Adulterer John McCain cheated on and then dumped his loving first wife. This was the same sweet woman who waited patiently for his to return from Vietnam. Way ta go Maverick.
From the Washinton Post...
In early 1980, John McCain was a man in transition -- and in a hurry.
Nine months earlier, at a cocktail reception in Hawaii, he met a glamorous young heiress named Cindy Lou Hensley and, by all accounts, fell instantly in love. McCain spent months flying from Washington to Arizona pursuing this new relationship. Soon, the 43-year-old naval attache and his 25-year-old sweetheart were engaged.
There was only one complication: McCain was still married.
Carol Shepp McCain, then 42, had endured much in more than 14 years of marriage to John. She had raised their three young children alone while her husband languished in a North Vietnamese prison camp for 5 1/2 years. Her tribulations grew immeasurably after a near-fatal car accident that immobilized her for months and left her scarred for life. Despite their reunion and physical rehabilitation, by the late 1970s the McCains' marriage had begun to crack, as John engaged in what he later termed "dalliances" with other women.
Now it was being torn apart by his relationship with Cindy Hensley. McCain didn't hesitate in bringing his marriage to a swift end.
According to public records, he and Cindy received a marriage license in Maricopa County, Ariz., in early March 1980, four weeks before his divorce from Carol was final. A judge in Florida dissolved the McCains' marriage April 2, entering a default judgment after Carol failed to respond to three court summonses. John and Cindy were wed six weeks later, on May 17.

McCain's GOP friends have been kind enough to keep her employed since Senator McCreepo dumped her, and I guess that's a good way to keep her mouth shut when asked about her ex's adultery.

umm sorry dude, it was you who started going off on tangents based on my posts. hard to believe but my first post actually had to do with "psychological" issues when talking about homosexuality and now we are talking about (because of your examples) black conservatives vs. black liberals. i think you may want to come back to this blog and reread the previous posts and you will see i am correct. but anyway, you have a good night too.

oy vay...this isnt even a challenge debating you libs. i didnt even say that cosby is a republican and in fact i would almost bet he isn't...but yet he is considered a sell-out because he spoke the unspeakable...calling young blacks (mostly males) out on their obviously self-destructive behavior and he got cricified. it didnt matter one iota what else he had done in his life to actually help young black males...nooooooo. it was simply because he didnt speak the party line and that, my friend, is unacceptable.

Obama gave the same type of speech. Does that mean he's really a republican now?

gee i hope you arent dizzy after that little spin there. i will say that wayyyyyyy too many black democrats are mored concerned with the gimme gimme gimme, evil white man rhetoric than they are with self-help, personal responsibility ideas. i mean, thats why they are dems in the first place. i got two words for ya...bill and cosby. that man has put his money where his mouth is for decades trying to help impoversihed blacks have a better life through education and such...but then he makes a few speeches talking about how young blacks are basically destroying themselves and all of a sudden cosby's ghetto card suddenly expires. he is persona non grata with "real blacks".
