Published Sep. 29, 2008The mayor of Fort Mill, SC says he was just "curious" when he forwarded an email concerning Barack Obama and whether or not he was the Anti-Christ. The Honorable Mayor claimed to be searching for documentation in the Scripture to back it up.
If there is any positive thing, it is the fact that he didn't use his office to forward the email. Still find it amazing that so many supposedly "intelligent" people can get caught up in something so silly and transparent. Very sad.

I'm more amused that the mayor of a city would be concerned about passing around emails like this. And then trying to justify it by saying he was trying to research it the claim.
Sad.
