Thanks for all your kind comments and prayers. Thank you for the phone calls and offers of help that Belladonnadoll has received. There are some really nice people here on Golo.
Belladonnadoll's and my mother is in Cape Fear Valley Hospital. She is being taken care of by Hospice. We do not know how much longer she will be with us. I spent Friday night and Saturday night with my mom and dad in the hospital room. I did not want my dad to be alone if something happened to my mom during the night. Plus I knew my dad would not have gotten much sleep if he was there by himself.
My mom is alert but since she can't talk, I have no way of knowing if she knows what all is going on. She has peumonia in her right lung and fluid in her lower left lobe. She also has a lot of fluid in the sack around the lungs which is causing her to have to work harder for each breath. She is seventy five years old.
Please continue to pray for my mom (Betty) and pray for my dad (Bob). My dad is going to really miss her when she is gone. He is already heartbroken over seeing his sweetheart suffering as she is. They have been married for over 53 years.
Oh yeah, one more thing. Some angel left two balloons in my mom's room before she was moved there. I say some angel because for the room to be available, it means that someone had to have passed away. My mom loves balloons and for the first day she was in there, you would have to pry her hand open to get her to release the ribbons.
