the mcsame game
Published Sep. 21, 2008The Obamas talk a good game then apparently prey on poor in much the same manner as they have in any other area of finance. Hope? I think not.
( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3rE0VO5tWu4 ) Is this really the change we want?
How about their lack of support in better education for poor youth. Considering that it costs much more to provide much less effective public education, why make it financially impossible for many parents to afford private education? This effects far more than just poor blacks. I call it "All children left behind, but mine" ... Note that THEIR daughters are in private institutions, why not make it so that more can get the same opportunity? What happened to equal and fair for all? Isn't he all about change? What change? Change in equality, change in education, change in basic health care?
Sounds like more of the same to me.
Even though I am opposed to school vouchers, I cannot support ideology that seems hypocritical in nature.
Don't be spoon fed, think for yourself.

According to democrats...of course if you don't choose the way you are supposed to then the dems aren't really 'pro choice' either.

The GOP is the closest party to being "the advocates of choice" ... the more liberal the party, typically the more socialist as well, it's all spelled out by each party's doctrine. (Palinites, reference www.google.com to find out what I mean.) ;-P

While I agree with this stance, I also feel that if you choose to send your children to private school, you should not have to fund the education of those receiving public education. Personally, I feel that the entire education system should be privatized or all education should be provided socially.
Further, I don't believe that those without children should have to fund the education of any child. I could go on, but I think this sums up my position fairly well.

Tawny, I believe I gave a perfect example of my position in the linked video. My comment is based in that as well as other cost saving initiatives that where included in policies Michelle Obama suggested to the University of Illinois Hospitals. Other example is how, per recommendation from Obama, uninsured and underinsured persons are charged in the order of some three times as much as an insured person is charged for the exact same procedure.
