because election '08 is already hosed

Im feeling like we're guinea pigs in some old elitists' wager to see which the country would vote for... a black president or a female vice president... NEITHER of whom are qualified for the job ahead.
Some years ago, I attended a dinner/conference where John McCain was present, and I have to say, at a personal level, he's a great guy. And yet, so's my pastor... but I wouldn't want either of them in charge of our country.
As for Obama? I've consulted the magic 8-ball again today and the result is STILL: Reply Hazy, try again... after Decision '08. I personally can't really form an opinion and nor would I until I have personal interaction or my life is impacted by his policies that he may one day implement. Some of my coworkers think the world of him (they're from the same area of Illinois).
OK, lets explore the irrational side now: It's like being asked to decide which you'ld rather allow into your home for the next four years, a rapist or a thief. Obviously neither candidate is as aforementioned... but Im kinda feeling ripped off as a voter... we're GONNA be burned one way or the other here its just a matter of time.
We have how many people in this country and we can't find a SINGLE qualified candidate to lead us?! What gives on that?
I say lets take a new approach. Lets put a new Sherriff in town (and I mean Washington, DC!)

I agree the choices are less than ideal, but if we are going to be part of the process we are going to have to choose a lever to pull in the near future.
The President is going to be Frick or Frack and I can accept either - - it’s the OTHER 535 nuts sitting under the big dome that scare me.
