ruined my lunch.....

OK - So i am sitting at lunch trying to enjoy my chips and slasa before my lunch arrives and they have CNN on the TV......The event in Iowa for McCain/Palin is about to begin. The guy on TV talks about how the last rally everybody showed up to sarah palin talk and then a steady stream of people left as McCain waddled up to the podium.
Anyway....This blow hard gets up there and starts speaking and what the first thing she does......introduce "my husband tadd (with accent) he is a steel worker and a world class snowmachine racer......I threw up in my mouth and as good as mexican food is it is NOT good the second time.
Also, You know how when you first meet someone and you think they are attractive......well this has happened with sarah palin - hot older lady in the beginning before she opened her yapper and now I wouldn't touch her with steve's..................you know the rest.
Anyway I will be dining on chinese food for a while while my memory is washed of that spectacle I witnessed today.

I'm trying to figure out why southerners appear to have such a difficult time relating to someone with a good educational background, articulate..... Have you had an opportunity to "read" his platform. It actually contains significant information that one may discover to be important to the future of this country.
