We have a quick screen capture from the Mordor Cam high atop Mount Doom - The recent explosion heard through out all Middle Earth seems to spell the end of the Evil Lord of Mordor, Sauron.
It seems a couple Hobbits managed to get the One Ring back to the fires of Mount Doom.
UN-named sources say that while a large battle took place at The Black Gate, two little people manged to creep un-seen through the fray - After a bit of a struggle with someone named Gollum (who looks strangely enough like James Carvell), the One Ring was retruned to the fire of its origin.
Soon after, a blast eminated from Barad-dûr and the ground swallowed up most of the Orcs. Things are still chaotic at the moment but stay tuned....
We'll have a complete report at 10, 10:30, midnight and 5:30, 6:30, noon, 5:30 First News, and a wrap up on the Evening news. Look for a weekend special coming soon.
We might even get to speak with the new King!
Now back to our regulary scheduled show....

I used to think maybe Legolas, but if I were choosing now, I'm thinking Aragorn is more to my liking. I mean, the dirty Aragorn. Not what my British friend, Bev, refers to as the Pantene Aragorn (from the end of ROTK).

Hey! Me and the Mr. do the same thing. It's incredibly geeky, but I do love the special editions. I got'em when they were first released... it was the only thing I asked for that Christmas.
