Published Sep. 6, 2008Once again I get my hopes up only to have them dashed. The storm played out like I knew it would even though I was still hoping for some good weather. My final stats not that anyone cares. I had a total rainfall of 4.36" for the storm, a high wind of 24 mph at 7:51 this morning and the pressure bottomed out at 29.18" at 5:10 am. A major disappointment. :( It looks like Ike is going to be a no show so I'm looking far out to sea, hoping for a good storm before season's end..................

I don't know exactly what you wanted. It is NO fun living thru extreme weather. Have you ever done that? Or lost your home to Mother Nature?
They were talking about Andrew today, and at first, they didn't think he would amount to anything.
