McCain is on the main stump.
He is looking and sounding very presidential.

It was the misleading Rove tactic of phone banking in SC in 2000 in which they asked voters what they would think if they knew McCain had a "black" child.
Yes, Bridget is a beautiful girl, and she has been hidden; partly for her own sanity, no doubt, but also not to offend the base to which McCain is now pandering. And why I can no longer support him as I did in 2000 (not to mention that his platform has changed).

The McCains have an adopted daughter from Bangladesh and she is black.
Cindy McCain brought the girl back to the states when she was visiting Mother Theresa there and learned that the girl was dying.

For those of you who were turned off by the idea of McCain having a "black child" in 2000,be honest about it. Don't disguise your hatred and fear of Obama in all the BS. Aren't you the type of people who have always been proud of "calling a spade a spade," "call 'em like you see 'em" and all that? Hey, I applaud honesty and transparency, and I don't think we'll get far as a country if we keep tiptoeing around what's really going on. Isn't it the "wuss liberals" you have always chastised as being "politically correct"? Why are you being politically correct now? Lots of people who have always been proud of their views are suddenly silent. Just say you don't like him because he's BLACK. You want to say it anyway. Be honest.

A large portion of the *cough* "conservative Christians" on this board are the very people McCain and Palin are appealing to.
For those Republicans who don't subscribe to the narrow-minded, anything-but-conservative policies implemented by Republicans since the intrusion of the Moral Majority, this is a sad evolution (oops, many of you don't like word either, right?).
Sadly, the Republican Party has been HIJACKED by FEAR, LIES and IGNORANCE, and is controlled by people who exploit racist, homophobic, sexist beliefs or by people who truly ARE racist, homophobic (though the list of closet homosexual activity is verrrryyyyyyyy long), and sexist hypocrites.
Moral Majority? Nah, moral hypocrites. I hope you're proud and I hope your God forgives your hypocritical, hate-filled judgmental lives.
