"out of bounds? not necessarily"

Is it okay for the Republicans to want to keep anything about Palin's family "off limits" but at the same time use them for political photo ops? Why bring in Bristol Palin's fiancé to St. Paul for a photo op and at the same time tell the media that he's "out of bounds"?

ST. PAUL, MINN. - Since Monday, the chorus from Republicans on TV news and in the halls of the convention has been resounding: Back off and let the Palin family be.
"That's out of bounds," said Minnesota's Republican governor, Tim Pawlenty. "There's no need to be intrusive and pry into that."
Yet Wednesday found the following scenes unfolding:
* Sarah Palin's pregnant, unmarried 17-year-old daughter and probable future son-in-law stood in a nationally televised, politically packaged airport receiving line to meet and greet the Republican candidate for president.
* The extremely cute and bubbly Piper Palin, 7, made her debut on her mother's behalf, appearing in a video on John McCain's daughter's blog. "Vote for my mommy and John McCain," she said, giggling as Meghan McCain grinned.
* Bristol Palin and her 18-year-old boyfriend, Levi Johnston, were were expected to appear together as part of the GOP political narrative at the convention Wednesday night

Had this press release been designed solely to end those rumors, it did not need to include a pregnancy announcement for Bristol. End of story.
Those are facts. Clearly you have none (again) so need to run off and start a new spin to distract from the fact that what you hold as true as been discredited yet again.

amvaugha: "The only reason Palin's kid is such an issue is because it shows the failure of her belief in pushing "abstinence only" on every child. It doesn't work- just look at her family. THAT is the main issue I see."
Let me (or Obama) state this again: "I think peoples families are off limits and people's children are especially off limits."

No, you are running away because what you have said was fact has been shown to be little more than party spin. Same reason why you blocked my posts. Same reason why so many people here came to the same conclusion that you present everything with a predictable bias and try to discredit anything that doesn't fit in with your world view.
