women standing up and standing out

What is seen but not heard at the Republican National Convention is a modern day phenomenon -- a WOMAN is standing up, taking stage, standing out, and out standing. Not just our society, but the world isn't used to seeing a COMMANDING woman taking control of a stage and camera.
Young girls, teens, are seeing a NEW role model. They just saw Hillary run a hard fought race for President of one party, and now they see Sarah Palin, a fresh face from the Alaskan north, literally TAKE THE STAGE and from out of nowhere, demonstrate to the world that a HOCKEY MOM and PTA president IS SOMEBODY.
This is a mother of five, mother of a Down's Syndrome child, wife of a good looking, strong appearing, loyal acting, MAN who seems COMFORTABLE with her power and position -- supportive!
Barack Obama for president. Sarah Palin withstanding personal and public assualts, family in tow, taking the stage, capturing the audience, and dominating TV coverage.
THIS IS A NEW CENTURY!
