does it really matter?
Published Sep. 3, 2008So I was just thinking the other day, what difference does it make as far as who is able to become a citizen and who isn't? I guess bottom line is, why is it so difficult for some to become citizens of the US and others are able to move up the ladder so much faster and stay for extended periods of time? For example, celebrities that are not natural citizens seem to be around for a while without any "problems"..
Ideas?

"Welcome to America America has always more gracious to the elite and nothing has changed. America is just like other counties in status. The rich get it all and poor get what the rich don't want and the middle man pays for it all. Yes sir welcome to America. That's why you see rich folks getting there's first and foremost."
Ladyblue,
The fact that you just posted these exact comments, yet want to elect a Republican just floors me. I'm not being critical of you, you're a very kind, sweet person, nearest I can tell. :)
If you think the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer is some sorta left wing plot, you've missed the mark.
That's the Republican way nowadays. Otherwise known as 'trickle down' economics.
Which, of course, doesn't work, as you've just stated here, albeit indirectly, in your blog.
:)
It was just a golden moment, so I had to stop and address it.
Carry on, everyone.
