is this really hunting?
Palin is a defender of this?
doesn't seem like much of a sport to me.
Seems to be a big waste of plane fuel and very unfair for the wolves.
Combine this with her lawsuit to remove the Polar Bears from the endangered species list to make it easier to drill for oil in her state and she's not likely to win many votes from animal lovers.

Given that, does it really make any difference what means are used to cull them? I really would not care if they used grenade missiles dropped from drones.
This is not a sport they are engaging in where some strange sense of fairness may come into play. This is an intentional cull for economic reasons.
