I'm posting a link to a GREAT essay on some of the common misuses of the English language. It's a handy, quick guide to some easy mistakes. I've linked this to TONS of people.
It's by Sarah Bunting who used to be one of the owners of Television Without Pity (referred to in the essay by its former name Mighty Big TV). Hope you enjoy!

And explanation doesn't have an i in the middle. (sorry, but it's the grammar group!) I can't help it. ;-)

QUOTE: "Also, 'yours' is a possessive personal pronoun in its own right. It's not necessary to implement that through the usage of the modifier apostrophe."
Yes, I KNOW that, silly-pants! It's the name of the essay!

It depends on the degree of your relationship with the person. Mrs. is always appropriate, but if your relationship is close and established, it's also a tad formal for what you are trying to convey.

The link was great...and funny. But I'm guessing if you don't know the difference between there, their and they're you certainly aren't going to be able to understand her explaination of the rules.
And welcome ends with an e.
