off to iowa for a long weekend

I'm heading home for my cousin's wedding. We fly out early in the morning. We are even allowed to check luggage...for free!!
I've been absent from Golo b/c I'm swamped at work right now. I can only pop in sporadically and take a look at the high number of drama blogs.
I hope everyone has a fun and safe Labor Day weekend. I'm sure it will be hard to top the adventures I'm going to be having in Iowa.
When I get back Monday night I'm going to have a lot of college football to watch. Hoping the Heels start of the 08-09 season with a WIN!

I miss the inch thick pork chops and Old Dutch potato chips, too.
My daughter had Iowa sweet corn for the first time (I sent her in July) and she's still raving about it!

Can't be a vegetarian if you are from Iowa!! My Mom gave my boyfriend a cooler of meat for Christmas and his birthday. We enjoyed some jalapeno brats just the other night!
