brides to be: what are your thoughts on co-ed bridal showers?

I know that more and more couples are having co-ed bridal showers, and even baby showers. I must admit that I'm a bit miffed by the new-fangled baby shower ritual, but I have yet to attend one so maybe the guys do know how to have fun and don't mind all of those girly games.
But back to the question at hand....
Are you having a co-ed bridal shower? Have you attended one? Is that now the norm? Do tell.

Showers are solely thrown (or are supposed to be solely thrown) by friends of the couple, and those friends determine the nature of the event, not the bride / groom.

My son got married back in the spring. His office, at a bank in Fuquay, threw a shower for him and his fiance one morning before the bank opened. The interesting thing was, no one at that bank had ever met the girl, and it was instigated by a female department head. It was a great time, good breakfast food laid out, linens and china and they got great gifts.
So yeah...... men do attend. They even get them..... lol.
