illegal immigration tensions

 Now, with that said I will say that I think you will see more of this sort of thing as the illegal immigration issue is shoved down the throats of the average American(not the bleeding heart libs).  I think the 3 punks that killed this man should be locked away for life with no parole.  I am sad that this man's children will not have a father, but the fact remains he should NOT have been here illegally in the first place.  He should not have been employed.  He should've been so scared to show his face in public for fear of be captured and arrested/deported.  He wasn't!!!!  He was at the park.  With a teenage girl.  He's 25 and engaged to another woman so what he was doing with a teenage girl at the park is another issue.  It's time to LOCK the borders down tight.  Load up the buses.  When there is a pro-illegal immigration rally(like the one in the picture) get the big buses out there and get busy rounding up the illegal immigrants.

JAFOinWF - you are quite correct. One of my reasons for deciding to not vote for McCain or for Obama is this very issue. With either one of those two, we will continue to get more of the same.

Agreed that there is alot tension. This means that our social fabric ripping apart in what was and could be a great nation. Instead the politicians have decided not to stand up for laws or our society or the citizenry. They have chosen to allow invaders to suckle off what is great about this country and in doing so, allow it's demise. Much like termites on a house, they will destroy it. The reason why GWB, Easley, McCain, etc do not worry about illegals is because they don't have to worry about it. They don't deal with the taxes, getting pushed out of job, the drunk driving, the crime, etc because they are immune to it. Easley got private bodyguards when he went to Italy for godsakes! They shut down I40 for Bush to come to a private fund raiser in NRaleigh. These idiots don't care about us insignificant peons as we are expendable peasants.

fragment four - the answer to your ignorant comment is yes, and I know others that have; results do vary. 11 to 15 percent of Americans murdered in this country is at the hands of illegal criminals - guess that does not matter to you. An almost equal number are killed by drunk illegal criminals on the highways, I guess that does not matter to you. If you do nothing you are contributing to these murders and deaths. Congratulations, I guess you are so much smarter than I and you require no education. Thanks for helping contributing to the carnage. I suppose if you see someone assaulted, or raped, or shot, or stabbed, you just decide, well the police will not catch all of them so I will just ignore it.

If enough people raised enough hell about this issue it'd be sure to get the ball rolling. Just look at what happened to McCain when he tried to get his little immigration AMNESTY(Sorry, Senator, that's what it is) bill passed after word leaked out. The public backlashed and he lost. If the government doesn't do something then citizens will as this story shows.

kevboom - so your significant other is facilitating the problem. Why has your significant other not contact ICE? It is not just the fault of our Government; though they bear the lions' share of creating the problem, it is the fault of people that will not do the right thing. Part of that means reporting criminal activity, the other part is electing people that will do the right thing. There is no question that the invasion we suffer has spanned multiple presidencies and multiple congresses. Both parties bear responsibility. It is only in recent years that some of the correct actions have started to happen. You must realize that we can not continue to absorb millions and million of illegals and survive. We will go to third world status if we remain on that path; and that is what you are supporting. Would your significant other not report a robbery or a shooting? I think yes, so why is your significant other ignoring these crimes? And why are you ignoring these crimes?

Hopefully you realize immigration issues aren't a conservative v. liberal problem. It's stems from a federal government that will NEVER do anything about illegal immigration, because they know America's capitalist engine runs on a sub-class of slave labor. My significant other works for a factory near RDU that employs thousands of illegals annually to package and ship products through the airport. Despite taking taxes out of paychecks which one would think would raise a few eyebrows when SS numbers came up bogus, do you think this company has EVER been investigated or raided by INS? NO! And they never will be. All Americans are against illegal immigration. It's just some of us realize the corrupt government won't stop it, so we suggest offering a free public education to migrant children, so they don't grow up to become the next gang member bringing crime to our streets. Ideal choice--stop immigration. Realistic choice--pay a little to educate now or pay a lot more in crime later.

Yes denverbob, we should go with your real belief. Each time an American Citizen in North Carolina is killed by an illegal, you should be at the funeral. You should start a ceremony where you present a folded up flag of a foreign country to the surviving family members. Just find out the country of origin of the illegal criminal and present that flag. You can thank them for their sacrifice. Tell them that it is worth their pain. Perhaps you might start with the family that recently lost their seven year old child to a drunk illegal criminal. Then you can help that criminal find employment when he gets out of prison. Perhaps you can provide him with housing until he gets back on his feet.

I agree with oldrebel, "Illegal Immigrant DOES= Criminal. QWe need mine fields and machine gun nests along our southern border. I hear that the illegals in Iowa are demanding that INS stop employer raids. That is like a bank robber demanding the FBI to stop investigting bank robberies. Illegals are filthy, nasty, useless and maybe it is time for the average citizen to start doing something about these filthy nasty criminals since the government acts like they are not even here.
