bomb blasts reported in bangalore india

Members of our off shore developers in Bangalore have reported that a series of bombs have exploded throughout the city killing at least one person. I have yet to see this reported on any of the main news sites.  

Bangalore is India's high tech hub and many US companies outsource their IT services to companies located there.

I got a further update from of of the people there. I'm just curious why this isn't a significant news item here. For one Bangalore is not a terrorist hotbed, and second there is a great deal of US investment there. "The blasts were minor in nature and the number of casualties reported are 2 dead and a couple of people injured. The city is back to normal with offices and transportation systems functioning as per normal."

That could be a really big deal. SO MANY big companies have all their IT people in India, including the one I currently work for. A couple of them still seem to be on sametime though. Maybe they aren't based in Bangalore.
