mine are pretty flashy. A moving layout, 2 slide shows (my art and my family), 2 videos which you have to start manually, and a music playlist that goes on it's own.

I'm so sorry --- but I just love it. I change the layout/background every month! Change around the playlists about every 3 months.

I enjoy just watching and listening to it!

What I really hate is when people have myspace pages that assault me with music and flashy graphics the moment I go there.

Which is why I rarely go there, unless directed. ;)

(apologizes to any of you who love to assault people with 'what you're listening to now' or flashing graphics that might induce seizures, cuz if you like it, hey... whatever blows your skirt up).

No facebook, no myspace.

I figure if I wanna tell people lots of stuff about me, I'll just create a standalone web page.

I do, however, have a LinkedIn account. Professional only.

There is a general letting-it-all-hang-out-there attitude. What you see is what you get with me too, but there are some closed door moments that I don't feel I need to put on my facebook.

One time while I was looking around myspace, I found a teacher's page that was just nasty. His picture was of him in a classroom teaching, but his little message thing beside his name was how badly he needed..umm...some release. I'll leave it at that! My myspace makes me look like I'm about 100 years old. Most of the time that's how old I feel when I see other people's pages!

I've never felt concerned with what potential employers would see on my myspace. What you see is what you get with me anyway.

I have a myspace account I created to check up on my nephews. I have a blog on blogspot.com. You're welcome to go visit it, just let me know and I'll tell you where. That where my friends and family go to see the latest pics of my girls.

There is nothing on my myspace page I would be embarassed for my employers to see...except for my plan to flee corporate Goldsboro to start my own business, LOL...but I think they already know that. I have also googled myself when job hunting to ensure that nothing bizarre pops up. :) Amazing just how many people in the world share a name...and what they do while they're wearing it, ha ha.

I've had my myspace for several years now. It helps me keep up with my step-son and niece -- their friends will be so eddie haskel when they meet me and so ozzy on myspace. It was quite an eye opening. Once my boys got on there I was able to get a little more of the real feel of their friends as well.

I've also met many wonderful visual/ professional artists. And I've also found some really great music and bands. For and expressive person, like myself, it's been a very enjoyable site.

I'm also on some art sites, so I never really did the facebook thing. Figured one totally social one was enough.
