When I was looking around on craigslist, I saw several people willing to sponsor adoptable pets at Wake Co.  I thought this was a good idea.

My Butch was half Rottie, and he was very sweet and loving. Maybe he just got the big & beefy from the Rottie side, 82 pounds, but, his Mom, the full blooded Rottie was just as sweet.

boom they are very protective dogs so he probably charged you because he was protecting the child.

I soo want a dog, but not one of those. I know that it depends on how they are raised. but our neighbor has one, and the dog is really good with kids, but let me tell you a short story. My daughter, 1 at the time, was standing beside the fence, and I was walking to her to pick her up for some reason, that dog charged at me barking its head off. this dog, if smart enough, could jump over our fence.

Patty, we have gotten 2 dogs from this shelter. One was a small adult dog and she was free. The other was a german shepherd puppie and she was $28 right after Christmas.

The shelter hours are only from 9am to 11am. BUT, if you call, they MAY wait. I dont' know.

Oh my goodness!! They are adorable. I would be more content, if the Rottie my son was getting for my grandson, was this size. The one they are getting already weights about 75 lbs. Thanks, Wonder Bubbles, for putting this up. I'm going to get my son to look at this.

they really are great family dogs. ours is 1 1/2 years old and absolutely adores our 12 year old son.

good luck with getting them all adopted.
